A small list of the problems I encountered/worked on during the year I had my 735i:

1. Heating gone in both windshield washer nozzles
2. Both switches for front seat heating broken
3. Heating in front passenger seat (the part where you sit) gone
4. Short circuit in drivers side front seat heating. Blows fuse when heat set to high
5. Weird wiring in engine compartment results in light on when hood is closed! Took a few days to run down the battery completely
6. Heat always on full in passenger compartment
7. Stepper motor regulating hot/cold air flow in passenger compartment broken loose
8. One stepper motor (interior heating) is operated by the control panel continuously
9. Front of car shakes violently at 80-100 km/h
10. Car pulls to the right
11. Gasoline smell when fuel tank is full
12. Not a single seat belt rolls back by itself after use
13. Drivers seat belt is not height-adjusted accordingly when seat is moved
14. Left rear door hard to open/close - corroded door check pin/mechanism
15. Battery replaced
16. Windshield wiper arm touching hood when in rest position
17. Wipers have too much movement: both drivers side a-pillar and plastic below windshield is wiped (complete wiper assembly have been replaced 3 times and still the same problem)
18. Windshield washer fluid motor broken
19. Drivers side front door linkage broken - door can't be opened from the inside
20. Heater valves replaced
21. Heater core leaking
22. Heater core pipes leaking
23. Coolant reservoir cap replaced
24. Die-hard rust on right rear quarters
25. Anti-rattle clip vanished from front brake caliper
26. Viscous clutch on engine fan broken
27. Auto transmission: drives in first gear only during the first 10-15 minutes when engine is cold (transmission rebuild for $3.000)
28. Auto transmission: takes 30-60 sec's to warm up enough to allow gear selection (5 stops at the local auto transmission wizard didn't help one bit)
29. Front passenger side lock won't open when outside temperature is freezing
30. All brake pads replaced
31. Tie rod end replaced due to wear
32. Currently selected gear does not show up on the instrument panel - bulb OK
33. Two of the doors can't be closed at all when outside temperature is freezing
34. Drivers side front seat armrest broken - not many 'clicks' left
35. Low beam headlight sucks - never had (seen!) a car with so bad lighting
36. Rear taillight / front fog lights suddenly turn off even though bulbs are OK
37. OBC reports outside temperature of -37 Celsius
38. Left front fog light vibrates and causes bad lighting
39. Speedometer reading 15% above actual speed
40. Power steering gone - all mechanical parts replaced
41. Engine stutter at low rpms and cold weather - sometimes the engine shuts off completely
